Four programs in one classical school.
Plainfield Dance Academy is an art school of dance, with classical ballet at its center. Children’s work begins at three. The Vaganova path runs from Ballet I through Ballet VI. Complementary jazz and contemporary sit beside the ballet week. Company and pre-professional work are earned by audition.

Where a dancer begins
Daily times live in Register and the PDA Portal. A class needs at least four students enrolled to run. Teachers place each dancer by what they see in class.
Ages 3–4
Children’s
Pre-Ballet, Pre-Tap, and Children’s Ballet with Miss Sonia. First classroom etiquette, music, and the habits that prepare dancers for the academy track.
Ages 5–17 · Vaganova
Ballet Academy
A numbered Ballet I–VI path. Weekly hours increase with each level. Pre-pointe, pointe, variations, and supporting technique.
All ages · Miss Devon
Recreational & Adult
Modern, jazz, jazz-lyrical, and contemporary alongside the ballet week. Tap classes are also offered. Adult classes for dancers returning to the studio.
By audition
Company & Pre-Pro
Mini through Senior company, and Pre-Professional Intermediate and Advanced. Required classes at PDA. Placement with Mr. Altin and Miss Olena.
